Wieden and Kennedy Shanghai takes three awards at CASBAA TV Advertising Awards 2007

Hong Kong – The CASBAA TV Advertising Awards 2007 were presented on Nov. 1 at the Academy for Performing Arts in Hong Kong. In its fourth year, the awards recognize and promote advertising creative excellence in multi-channel TV across Asia Pacific.Astro's Astro on Demand "Tai Chor La" campaign won the John Doherty Trophy for Campaign of the Year and Best TVC Southeast Asia. Wieden and Kennedy Shanghai's "JUMP" campaign for Nike featuring Chinese athlete Liu Xiang took Best TVC Greater China, Best TVC Youth and Best TVC Sports and Leisure.There were a record 170 entries this year, while a new category, Best Integrated Campaign by a Pay TV Channel, got the most entries. This was won by National Geographic Channel for its "Redefining the Beauty of the World" campaign. FCB Ulka for Naukri's "Name Calling" took Best TVC India and South Asia; Best TVC Business / Corporate was won by Quadrant Communications for Turner India's "Kirloskar Water Pumps". Other winners include P&G's "Pantene Shining Journey," which clinched Best Use of Sponsorship and Veta's "Let's Speak Fluent English" for the Most Creative Use of TV.CASBAA partnered with media services company Media E2E to organize and market the event.
