USA: Boris FX, a developer of integrated effects technology for video and film, has released the Boris Box Set, a motion graphics software collection which includes its full range of compositing and effects capabilities.

The Boris Box Set for Windows includes RED 4.2 which provides integrated 3D/2D compositing, titling, and effects capabilities; Blue 2 which offers real-time 3D compositing and motion graphics; Continuum Complete 5 AE’s 180 native filters and transitions for Adobe CS3 and Avid Xpress Pro; Final Effects Complete’s native filters for Adobe, Autodesk Combustion and Avid Xpress Pro; as well as Title Toolkit which comprises titling plug-ins for Adobe CS3.

The Boris Box Set for Mac also includes RED 4.2, Continuum Complete 5 AE’s 180 native filters and transitions for Adobe CS3, and Title Toolkit. Also included are Continuum Complete 5 FxPlug’s 180 native filters and transitions for Final Cut Studio 2, and Continuum Complete 5 AVX’s 180 native filters and transitions for Avid Xpress Pro. Also available are Final Effects Complete’s native filters for Adobe, Apple, and Autodesk Combustion, as well as Media 100 Producer Suite, a video editing software for Mac OS X.

The Boris Box Set is available at an MSRP of US$1,995, with Mac users receiving the Media 100 Producer editor with a Boris Box Set purchase. Existing Boris FX customers receive a discount of US$400.
