BOXX and Iridas offer savings for RTX workstation and FrameCycler post production software

Germany / USA: BOXX Technologies, provider of computing hardware for visual effects professionals, and Iridas, specialist in uncompressed playback technologies, have introduced a year-end pricing promotion for the RTX series workstations for the FrameCycler 2007 line of post production playback applications. Purchases made by Jan 31, 2008 will be entitled to savings of over US$2000.
The BOXX RTX workstation series provides support for up to 15 hot-swappable hard-drives and multiple graphics cards. FrameCycler DDS 2007 provides real-time playback of uncompressed frame-based sequences. The specially configured RTX series workstations and FrameCycler DDS 2K software are suited for dailies of up to 2K resolution.
