Tembusu invests in Singapore's Infinite Frameworks

10 December 2007

Singapore: Singapore-based media house Infinite Frameworks (IFW) has received investment from venture capital firm Tembusu Partners to expand from post-production services into executive production and distribution of content into mobile and IPTV services.
Tembusu is a private equity fund targeting commitments of up to $S100 million ($US69.2 million) and will focus on producing investment performance with targeted gross compounded returns in excess of 25% p.a. The investment gives Tembusu 24.6% of IFW shares, while Kinema Entertainment and IFW's founding partners retain the remainder. The injection of funds from Tembusu coincides with IFW's 10th anniversary.
IFW has handled post production for a number of advertisements and films from the region. One highlight is feature film 881, made in association with MediaCorp Raintree Pictures and Media Development Authority. Directed by Royston Tan, 881 surpassed US$2 million in sales and was the top grossing local film of the year in Singapore.
