Digieffects acquires Walker Effects plugins

3 January 2008

USA: Digieffects, a developer of software plugins for Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Autodesk Combustion has acquired the Walker Effects plugins from WalkerFX.
Suited for professional visual effects and motion graphics artists, the Walker Effects plugins toolset is a collection of 18 effects for Adobe After Effects to enhance channel operations and offer time-saving workflow techniques, render optimizations, and compositing flexibility.
Digieffects will update and continue offering the plugins at an MSRP of US$149, available direct from the company or resellers.
Separately, Digieffects has also released updates for Buena Depth Cue and Buena Effects Pack to support Intel-based Macintosh computers and to make the software compatible with universal binary applications including Adobe After Effects CS3, Adobe Premiere CS3, Apple Final Cut Pro 6 and Autodesk Combustion 4. As Buena Depth Cue and Buena Effects Pack are backwards compatible, the programs run natively on Power PC-based Mac computers.
Existing Buena Depth Cue and Buena Effects Pack customers moving to the Intel-based Macintosh platform can download free updates from the Digieffects web site at www.digieffects.com/softwaredownload.html
