Christie introduces the LX500 projector

USA: Christie, provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, has introduced the LX500 projector.
The Christie LX500 provides up to 5000 ANSI lumens and 1000:1 contrast ratio which offers clarity sufficient for medium to large conference or training centers. The projector’s 3 chip 1.0” LCD engine offers XGA native resolution with scaling for VGA to UXGA and video of up to 1080i.
Offering 8-bit video processing, LX500 is compatible with most computers and video sources including analogue and digital HDTV standards up to 1080i, as well as video reproduction from composite and S-video sources. It also has full featured input and output options including true digital connection via DVD-D, as well as Plug and Play support (DDC2B-PC use only).
Available in a body-only format, users may select from a range of fixed and zoom lenses to match the application. In addition, Christie LX500 features lens offset and digital keystone, and offers up to 3000 hours lamp life in eco mode.
