MTV to debut “Unplugged” concerts in China

Beijing / Hong Kong – MTV Networks China will produce and air the first “Unplugged” series of concerts in China. Sponsored by energy drink Red Bull, the two MTV – Red Bull Unplugged concerts will feature Pu Shu at Star Live in Beijing on Dec. 15 and Yu Quan at Absolute House in Shanghai on Dec. 22 performing acoustic sets before live audiences. The shows are slated for broadcast on MTV China’s 24-hour channel and syndication throughout January 2008 to potentially reach one billion viewers.
