10 December 2007

Sydney- ninemsn and Telstra’s BigPond have reached a deal which will see BigPond music, movies and game downloads available through the ninemsn network.

From early 2008, all music, movie and game download transactions from the ninemsn network will be made through BigPond.

ninemsn CEO Tony Faure said the agreement brought together Australia’s No. 1 interactive media company and the country’s No. 1 provider of Window-based online downloads for the benefit of consumers.

“This extends BigPond’s ongoing advertising relationship with ninemsn and firmly aligns with our strategy of focusing on producing the best editorial content while working with market leaders to provide the services that our audience wants,” he said.
