Neville Meijers helms Qualcomm’s MediaFLO Technologies as SVP and GM

San Diego - Qualcomm Incorporated, developer of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, has appointed Neville Meijers as Senior Vice President and General Manager for MediaFLO Technologies.
Reporting to Andrew Gilbert, Executive Vice President, Qualcomm, and President of MediaFLO Technologies and Qualcomm Internet Services, Meijers leads business development, engineering, marketing, partner relations, product and programme management functions, as well as global organization.
Meijers was most recently Executive Vice President of Antenna Audio at Discovery Communications and was previously Managing Director at Discovery Networks Asia, based out of Singapore.
MediaFLO is a mobile broadcast platform for the delivery entertainment and information, including streaming video and audio, Clipcasting media, IP datacasting and interactive services.
