SICAF 2008 Project Competition calls for entries

Korea: The 2008 Project Competition of the 12th Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF) organized by Seoul Animation Center within the SICAF Promotion Plan (SPP) under Seoul Business Agency is calling for entries.
In its seventh year, the contest is held to identify and develop commercially viable new animation projects. Projects being planned or produced in Asia by individuals, companies or consortia are eligible to be entered. Submissions can be made via mail or in person by Feb 29, 2008.
2008 finalists will be given the opportunity to pitch their projects to buyers, investors, and jurors from Korea and overseas on May 21, 2008, as well as follow-up meetings with interested parties. 2007 saw 56 projects from seven Asian countries in competition with 15 finalists showcased to international buyers.
