Games Convention Asia set for Suntec Singapore, September 18-20, 2008

Leipzig/Singapore - Games Convention Asia (GCA) and Games Convention Asia Conference (GCAC) will take place at Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre Singapore from September 18-20, and September 18-19, 2008, respectively.
GCA is a convention for regional interactive entertainment, infotainment, edutainment, hardware and technology industries. The show is organized by Leipziger Messe International GmbH (LMI), a subsidiary of the Leipziger Messe GmbH. GCA is the public exposition and business area where product presentations of new innovations is held as well as the promotion of international business contacts and the creation of business solutions. As a platform for Asia-Pacific’s interactive entertainment industry, the inaugural GCA drew more than 70,000 international visitors.
GCAC focuses on the themes of "Developing & Development", and is producing the GCA 2008 Competition. Speakers at the first GCAC in 2007 included Gilles Langourieux (Virtuos, China), Desmond Lu Guangyuan (Shanda, China), Bob Bates (USA,), James Miller (Microsoft, USA), Aroon Tan (CEO Asia Pacific, 10tacle, Singapore) and Steve Schnur (EA, USA).
