USA: PANORAMAdtv, the video products division of Wohler Technologies Inc., has released the HDMon-90WS HD color video monitor. The 9-inch HDMon-90WS is a production-grade monitor that accepts dual HD/SD-SDI inputs, as well as analogue component and composite signals, DVI signals, RGBHV video, and CGI images for both HD and SD images.

Although the HDMon product family is designed primarily for 1080-line HD applications, each monitor provides noise reduction, motion interpolation for interlaced images, and motion-adaptive processing to ensure a crisp, clear display of images, regardless of native resolution. The HDMon-90WS monitor features an 800x480 TFT/LCD screen to optimize scaling and interpolation processes.

The HDMon-90WS functions as a desktop monitor or installed in a 19-inch-wide rack to offer HD resolution, a choice of 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios, user-adjustable scaling, and 36 square inches of active viewing. Standard CRT functions include channel isolate, overscan, underscan, and power-saving auto off, as well as automatic and manual color temperature adjustment.

Built-in 100Base-T Ethernet and RS-232 connections allow the monitor to be configured and controlled remotely via a Windows-based GUI or by third-party control systems. The HDMon-90WS comes with a two-year warranty. Further information on the HDMon-90WS is available at www.wohler.com
