Avid’s Sundance Digital sets up facility in Singapore

Singapore: Sundance Digital, Inc., a part of Avid Technology, Inc., and provider of television automation solutions, will establish a test/demo/training facility in Singapore within Avid’s Singapore base.The facility aims to support Sundance Digital’s growing Asia-Pacific customer base with region-specific services including courses relevant to the area’s requirements and a training venue for engineering and operations staff. Topics range from Sundance Digital’s entry-level solutions to multi-channel automation suites, and include training of Publish To Sundance (P2S) – the Avid Interplay module that links the post-production and transmission domains. The facility also offers an Avid workflow system including Deko CG, Avid Unity ISIS, and Media Composer via hands-on training. Courses are offered in languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesian and Japanese. Product demonstrations will also be conducted to help facilitate purchase decisions.
