TNMG partners Shaf Broadcast in Indian joint venture

Tokyo - The New Media Group (TNMG), owner and operator of the World On-Demand (WOD) IPTV platform has formed TNMG Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai-based media technology and services joint venture with Shaf Broadcast Pvt Ltd, India-based broadcast and IP systems integration company.
The JV will license and manage TNMG`s WOD middleware across middle Asian markets, and conduct advanced media operations outsourcing for content owners and international IPTV platforms which require digitalization and content management services.
P.R. Suresh, president of Shaf Broadcast said, “We like (TNMG’s World On-Demand services and middleware) and see a big market for it as IPTV explodes in our region. We also know that global media companies have massive needs for content management and related digital services.”
Randy McGraw, president of TNMG expects to have the WOD brand of service and middleware expand into Middle Asian markets through the JV to meet “unique price, service, and deployment needs”.
