SingTel adds ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus to mio TV

Singapore - SingTel has launched ETTV Asia Channel and Asia Plus on its IPTV service mio TV on April 1, 2008, to offer Chinese variety and entertainment programmes from Taiwan.
ETTV Asia Channel offers lifestyle and variety programmes including Puppy Oh My Love hosted by Phoebe Huang, The Star Chef hosted by Ah-Jiao and drama The Spicy Family starring Lan Hsin Mei. ETTV Asia Channel adds to ETTV News Channel and ETTV Yoyo which are already available on mio TV
Asia Plus holds exclusive broadcast rights to Asian award ceremonies including the Golden Melody, Golden Bell and Golden Horse Awards. The channel features hosts such as Patty Hou, Tien Hsin, Tsai Kang Yong and Phoebe Huang. Variety programmes include Good Food hosted by Jiao Zhi Fang, Fortune Knows It All hosted by Phoebe Huang, nd Enews@Azio hosted by Patty Hou. Asia Plus’ Chinese language entertainment programmes range from lifestyle, fashion, culinary, entertainment news, dramas, music videos and musical performances.
Both channels are available at S$5 (US$3.65) per month or S$4 (US$2.90) per month on a twelve-month basis. SingTel is offering S$20 (US$14.50) shopping vouchers to the first 100 subscribers for each channel.
