Omneon opens office in Beijing

USA: Omneon, Inc., a provider of scalable media server and storage systems will open an office in Beijing, China. To be staffed by a business development and technical support team, the new office aims to improve the company's market responsiveness and to provide support to customers and resellers.
According to Andrew Thornton, vice president of sales for Asia Pacific, Omneon’s technical staff in Beijing will deliver service to partners, as well as provide pre-sale system design advice and post-sale support to customers. The team is also expected to facilitate communications of the Chinese market requirements to Omneon designers to be incorporated into new products and upgrades.
Omneon’s new Beijing office will be located at 12/F, Unit 30, China Resources Building, 8 Jianguomenbei Ave., Beijing 100005, and can be contacted at tel: +86 10 5811 1888, and fax: +86 10 5811 1999. The China office adds to Omneon’s offices in Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, as well as sales and support staff in Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
