Kuala Lumpur - MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. has inked a deal with All Asia Multimedia Networks FZ-LCLC (AAMN) to distribute the Astro ARUNA channel on the MEASAT-3 satellite.
Since its launch, ARUNA has attracted interest from pay TV and IPTV operators from Europe, Americas and the Middle East, and MEASAT’s footprint and delivery are expected to provide the channel to niche audiences over extensive geographical areas.
MEASAT-3’s global C-Band footprint provides a distribution platform suitable for broadcasters offering access to more than 160 million TV households across Asia Pacific. Now, the satellite provides a video distribution platform for both SD and HD content.
