SPENA promotes Ang Hui Keng to SVP – channels management and finance

Singapore – SPE Networks–Asia (SPENA) has promoted Ang Hui Keng to senior vice-president – channels management and finance, from vice president, finance, distribution and operations. Promoted in recognition of his contributions to SPENA, Ang will tap on his experience and knowledge in his new role to guide a new set of leaders as the company restructures for further growth.
Ang joined SPENA 10 years ago when parent company, Sony Pictures Entertainment, started the office in Singapore as the regional headquarters for its TV networks. His responsibilities included regional finance, administration, human resources management, business development, distribution, operations, network presentations and information technology.
He also contributed to SPENA’s growth from a single-channel brand to a portfolio of six channel brands including AXN, Animax, AXN Beyond, Sony Entertainment Television, and on-demand movie channels PIX and PIX Thriller.
