Cannes - Amit Khanna, chairman and CEO Reliance Entertainment, is the second keynote speaker to be confirmed for AMAZIA 2008, being held 17-20 November 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
MGM chairman and CEO Harry E. Sloan was confirmed as a keynote speaker earlier this week.
AMAZIA Event Director Franz Caduc told Television Asia Plus that Khanna’s confirmation is exemplary of the show’s ‘East meets West’ philosophy. “It’s not just about what the East can learn from the West, but about what Asia can teach the rest of the world.”
Over 50 exhibiting companies are confirmed for the event, along with 140 content-buyers. It is expected that 60-65% of delegates will be Asian.
