Discovery Travel & Living goes the Wright way

Singapore - Discovery Networks Asia’s lifestyle entertainment channel Discovery Travel & Living worked with organizers of culinary event World Gourmet Summit 2008 to feature travel show host Ian Wright to promote its new TV series America the Wright Way in Singapore.

Headlined ‘Ian Wright Uncensored’, the British presenter of Discovery shows including Globe Trekker and VIP Weekends with Ian Wright hosted the English-themed dinner attended by over 300 guests from the culinary industry and members of the media held at the InterContinental Singapore hotel. Wright related his travel and work experiences in three segments including a candid Q&A session open to all guests, as well as highlighted upcoming travel series America the Wright Way to premiere in August 2008

Featuring Wright’s travels across six cities in the US including Chicago, New York, Nashville, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Miami, America the Wright Way showcases the specialties of each location, including the history, people, culture and lifestyles to identify the character of each city. The series is scheduled to air weekly on Tuesdays at 9pm (SIN/HK) starting from August 19, 2008, with encore telecasts on Sundays at 9pm, on Discovery Travel & Living.
