Korea: Cable and satellite channel Arirang recently installed a Studer OnAir 3000 digital console into its Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) centre. This brings Arirang’s inventory of Studer OnAir range of audio mixers to 15. Out of these, 12 consoles have been installed in the recently opened radio station facility in Seoul and include OnAir 500s, OnAir 1000s and OnAir 2000s. Arirang network is Korea’s first English language network and it currently broadcasts three television channels, which are viewed in more than 51 million households in 185 countries. It also has an English Language radio station called Arirang Radio.
