Bringiton, Nokia and ShineReveille team for Play Us

7 May 2008

Swedish media firm Bringiton has partnered with Nokia’s N-Gage mobile gaming platform globally for youth multi-platform series Play Us which has been sold by distributor ShineReveille International to networks in nine countries including the Philippines, France, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Brazil.
Aiming to take gaming to a wider audience, the Play Us (www.playus.tv) format integrates TV, the Internet and mobile platforms as the multi-platform series follows a team of young female first-person shooter game Counter-Strike professionals on a world tour where they overcome challenges to improve gaming skills and teamwork, as well as build a brand.
Martin Gisselman, president of Bringiton said, "The initial success of Play Us demonstrates the unique opportunity to blend gaming with television to provide the ultimate form of entertainment. With Nokia and ShineReveille on board, we've formed a pioneering team for creating the next worldwide success in television programming."
Play Us currently airs on MTV France channel Game One and South American network Multishow (GloboSat), and will broadcast on MTV Networks Nordic.
