Singapore: Software Generation Ltd (SGL) will demonstrate FlashBrowse, the new Enterprise archive viewing tool, and the entry-level FlashBox system at BroadcastAsia 2008. The key focus points are strong business benefits, system expansion and low ownership cost.

FlashBrowse provides an interface that allows archived material to be searched and viewed and then automatically restored back into the Online media network. It is a fast, cost-effective solution for content owners including post-production facilities, broadcasters and government departments.

FlashBox features scalable disk and tape storage, and provides 1,000 hours of DV25 archive storage in a 7U rack mount unit. It comes packaged with the FlashNet software.

SGL is the only integrated archive solution currently sold by Avid for the Avid Interplay non-linear workflow engine.
