Fortune Star titles to be distributed online in Japan by Tsutaya Discas

Hong Kong/Japan – STAR has inked a deal with Japanese online content provider Tsutaya Discas to distribute 20 movie titles from STAR’s Fortune Star library via Internet in Japan.
Titles available from May 14, 2008 via Tsutaya Discas electronic rental (ER) and electronic sell through (EST) download services included Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon starring Bruce Lee, the Project A series starring Jackie Chan, and the A Chinese Ghost Story series.
STAR owns a multi-language library of content including Fortune STAR’s contemporary Chinese language feature film library of over 600 motion picture titles starring Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, Jet Li, and Michelle Yeoh from filmmakers including John Woo, Yuen Woo Ping and Ronny Yu. Also available for syndication and distribution is STAR's 20,000-hour library of Indian and Chinese TV programming including daily dramas such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, as well as Taiwanese music variety shows Lollipop and Blackie's Teenage Club.
