NL Yellow River Satellite TV targets Chinese auds

Singapore – NL Yellow River Satellite TV, a US$50 million joint venture between China Yellow River Television & Broadcasting Media (CYRTB) and Singapore’s Net Leader Holdings, is targeting a Q3 launch to some 220million people in China and Southeast Asia.
A Net Leader spokeperson said the Singapore-based satellite TV firm will offer variety, sports, dramas, animation and other Chinese-language fare. It intends to broadcast to Beijing and Shanghai, as well as some regional cities in China. It is also in talks with pay-TV operators in Singapore, as well as eyeing Europe and the Middle East.
