Singapore: Cintel International will be showing the world’s fastest pin registration film scanner diTTo at BroadcastAsia 2008.

diTTo will be fully configured with the Dust/Scratch Concealment Option (D/SCO) as well as a number of new features. D/SCO is unique in any film scanning system because of its use of real time, optical correction to provide the real image

diTTo features Waveform, Histogram and Vectorscope Monitoring. The new features on display at Broadcast Asia will include the ability to simultaneously generate an SD or HD data file at the same time as the master 2K or 4K files are produced. This enables a new workflow where the film only needs to be scanned once on diTTo. SD or HD files are produced for offline editing or even dailies use while the 2K or 4K files are stored for the master online work.

Cintel’s business development manager, Simon Clark said “The Asia market is extremely important for Cintel and we believe diTTo is the perfect scanner for the emerging Digital Intermediate industry. It is fast, easy to use and has image quality second to none”

Cintel will be exhibiting on the booth of their Singapore agent Techtel, 7D4-09. BroadcastAsia 2008 takes place at the Singapore Expo from 17th – 20th June, 2008.
