Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd has inked an agreement with AETN All Asia Networks Pte Ltd (AAAN), JV between Astro All Asia Networks and A&E Television Networks, to distribute The Biography Channel on the MEASAT-3 satellite to regional pay TV operators.

At launch, The Biography Channel is available on StarHub Digital Cable in Singapore and on various cable platforms in the Philippines. The channel offers factual programming that profiles personalities from around the world.

The distribution deal for The Biography Channel adds to agreements signed by the two companies in 2007 to distribute The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network.

Four MCPC platforms currently operate on MEASAT-3 from Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, and additional platforms are being planned for South Asia and Middle East.
