Smoke and Flame updates at Autodesk Asia-Pacific 2009 Roadshow

Autodesk Asia Pacific Systems 2009 Roadshow continues its run in cities across Asia Pacific after a successful start in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Participants were updated on the latest versions of Autodesk Smoke 2009 and Autodesk Flame 2009 software. Autodesk experts were also on hand to demonstrate 2009 releases featuring:
• Batch FX – the new procedural timeline compositing workflow in Smoke
• new creative batch nodes in Smoke and Flame
• expanded format support, including direct ingest of Panasonic P2 media files
• improvements to 3D tracking in Flame
• standard file system performance optimisations
The Autodesk Asia Pacific Systems 2009 Roadshow will make its rounds to the following cities; Auckland (11 June), Taiwan (11 & 12 June), Shanghai (10-13 June), Beijing (17 June), Sydney ( 17 June), Melbourne (19 June), Kuala Lumpur (26 & 27 June), Brisbane (9 July), Bangkok 8-10 July), Chennai (15 July), Hyderabad (16 & 17 July), Mumbai (19 July), New Delhi (22 & 23 July), Jakarta (22-24 July), Bangalore (24 & 25 July).
