The Foundry appoints Lucy Cooper as new marketing manager

10 June 2008

London - Visual effects software developer, The Foundry has appointed Lucy Cooper as its new marketing manager. Cooper, who will be predominantly based at The Foundry’s headquarters in Soho, London, will be responsible for worldwide marketing of the company’s range of visual effects compositing, image-processing and creative plug-in products. She replaces Nicki Morris, who has taken the new role of regional sales manager at The Foundry.
Cooper has a strong track record in marketing in film and television post production, and physical special effects. She had earlier held marketing posts at BBC MediaArc (now Red Bee Media), BBC Resources, Tele-Cine (part of Todd AO) and Scottish Television.
Most recently she headed the marketing department at Artem Ltd, one of Europe’s largest physical special effects companies.
Bill Collis, CEO at The Foundry, remarked: “Lucy has a lot of experience in this arena and, as we move ahead with new product developments, we look forward to the fresh perspectives she will bring to our business.”
