Jampro Antennas to exhibit compact and expandable mask filter/combiner at Broadcast Asia 2008

10 June 2008

Jampro Antennas will highlight its new UHF RWED-516-U television mask filter/combiner, and its Prostar broadband UHF slot antenna at Broadcast Asia 08 in stand 7G1-08.
The multipurpose four-port directional filter/combining unit can be used either as a mask filter, or as a constant impedance-combining module for high power UHF TV broadcasting. The RWED-516-U has a cross-coupled design that accommodate adjacent channels, meets stringent filtering standards and provides constant impedance performance in adjacent channel applications as well as channel separations greater than 15 channels.
The RWED-516-U features the high isolation of traditional constant impedance technology, but attains elliptical response without external coupling mechanisms. The large cavities of the RWED-516-U can handle high power with low insertion loss and the filters are temperature compensated for close-spaced combining applications. Not limited to bandwidth restrictions of standard hybrid technology, the RWED-516-U is expandable to handle future channels.
In addition, the compact RWED-516-U can be mounted overhead. Meter ports are available for both before and after the filter.
