STAR appoints Ron Plante SVP, Research

Hong Kong – Ron Plante has been appointed senior vice president, research at STAR.
Plante will spearhead ad sales research, market research, program research and audience measurement research in support of sales, programming, marketing, and business development activities for the company. Based in Hong Kong, Plante reports to Todd Lituchy, president, entertainment of STAR.
Before joining STAR, Plante served as vice president, research for Lifetime Networks, where he was responsible for programming and marketing research. Prior to this, Plante held several posts with NBC, most recently as vice president, research with CNBC Europe. Plante holds a BS in Management from Boston College.
