Xytech Systems launches Asian language version of software at Broadcast Asia 2008

24 June 2008

Singapore - Xytech Systems Corporation, a leading provider of software solutions that improve, automate, and streamline mission critical business operations including business workflow, resource scheduling, media library management, and digital workflow automation, announced the availability of Asian language support for the Xytech software at the recently concluded Broadcast Asia (BCA) held in Singapore 17-20 June 2008.
The Xytech software is ‘soft coded’ to support local languages from around the world, but now has been enabled to also support Double Byte Character Sets (DBCS) languages which include simplified and traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. As a representation of its capabilities, the Xytech software was demonstrated at BCA 2008 with an optional Simplified Chinese language pack.
Xytech solutions are in use by over 350 customers worldwide including major film studios, international broadcasters, post production facilities, cable/TV networks, and corporate media departments, to manage their mission critical media business operations. The Xytech Suite of modular solutions provides a complete, end-to-end, integrated workflow solution for the creation, management, scheduling, tracking, and delivery of physical and digital media assets.
“Xytech is rapidly expanding into international markets, and we are pleased we can now support the Asian (DBCS) languages,” said Ron Peeters, executive vice president of sales and marketing of Xytech Systems Corporation. “Every media operation in the Asia Pacific region, whether in production, post production, or broadcasting, has a need to better manage their business, resources, and library assets in their native language. They can now look to the Xytech software as the solution of choice to streamline their media operation while increasing their productivity and profitability.”
