July 1 launch for Sci Fi and Universal Channel in Singapore

Singapore - NBC Universal’s two new channels Sci Fi and Universal Channel will debut on StarHub Digital Cable’s Entertainment Basic Upsize Group from 5pm July 1 2008.

Sci Fi, taglined ‘where imagination lives’, is making its South East Asian debut in Singapore. Line-up includes behind-the-scenes Heroes Unmasked, Stephen King’s Dead Zone (Season 3) and Dead Like Me, plus classic series like Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek - The Next Generation and Stargate SG-1.

Universal Channel, taglined, ‘Its (sic) people who make us Universal’ is offering The Office (Season 4), Greek, the latest season of Law and Order: SVU (Season 9), American Gladiators 2008, Murdoch Mysteries, Quarterlife, Cane, and jPod.
