CETV goes beyond Asia

30 June 2008

China Entertainment Television (CETV) has landed Stateside through KyLinTV - the first IPTV service provider of Chinese-language programs in North America. Apart from Mainland China and the Asia Pacific region, viewers who live as far as in America and Canada may now be able to watch CETV's original programs through IPTV or video on demand programming.
24-hour Mandarin general entertainment channel, CETV was the first foreign satellite television channel in China to be granted landing rights into the cable systems of Guangdong Province. CETV's original productions have been syndicated to TV channels across Mainland China including Zhejiang, Fujian, Liaoning, Guizhou and Hong Kong. Popular original productions like Big Time Spender, Silent Talk, Beauty First, Celebrity Kitchen, Hi! Lucky Taxi and Ways of the World, have earned CETV excellent ratings and reputation.
KyLinTV is the only institution in the world offering both live broadcasting and video on demand of Chinese TV programs through the Internet. It currently delivers over 30,000 hours of programs from Chinese TV channels in real time as well as on demand movies, TV dramas and other entertaining programs to subscribed viewers throughout North America.
