Caldecott Production's Int'l to launch new HD channel

La Rochelle - MediaCorp's Caldecott Productions International (CPI) will be launching its HD channel - Caldecott HD - on internet and IPTV platforms such as Babelgum, Joost, Factual TV, ClixSmartv and WOWtv within the next few months.
In its two years of existence, CPI has been breaking new ground by first venturing out to produce original documentaries aimed at the global markets. To date, CPI has sold 100% of its current inventory of 36 titles.
Shialey Tan, head of international sales says, "We are delighted that our content has been picked up by global buyers. There is a place for stories told differently out of Asia and we will continue to work hard to produce content that works for our global clients."
Adds Hee Yah Ong, MD Caldecott Productions International and executive producer, "With continued support from our independent producers in Asia as well as our buyers, we are determined to make a positive contribution to the world of documentary-making and add to its variety and excitement."
