da Vinci’s new offerings at IBC 2008

2 September 2008

da Vinci will be showing its technology innovation, CORE (Cuda Optimized Resolve Engine), introducing new color finishing products based on this high-performance platform.
At IBC 2008, da Vinci will introduce a new system - the R100 - that will provide an affordable color grading solution for broadcasters, post houses, and production studios. The R700 is a fast color grading system that reflects da Vinci’s horsepower and features.
The R4K is a true real-time, 4K interactive color grading solution. The R4K's intuitive interface enables colorists to exercise their full creative capacity while showing their clients pristine images in real time.
Stereoscopic 3-D has become an industry buzzword and da Vinci, in conjunction with its largest customers, has developed the ultimate in-context color grading solution, the R3D. Using the power of da Vinci's CORE technology, colorists are able to exercise their creativity while grading for the next generation of stereoscopic visual experience.
Impresario Control Environment - Impresario is the next generation of artist/system interaction presenting a new design and offering functionality and user-defined flexibility and is available as an option to any Resolve system.
Also making its European debut is the Resolve R-series, the new line of the da Vinci Resolve digital mastering suite. The Resolve R-series, featuring the R200, R250, R300, and R350, has shipped into markets throughout the world. Coupled with an industry standard GUI and control panels, the R-series establishes the new benchmark in digital intermediate (DI) color grading across feature films, television, and commercials.
