Singapore - SingTel announced that Italian football league Serie A will be available on mio TV from November 9 on channel 61.
Subscribers will get to watch up to four live matches each weekend with commentary available in both English and Mandarin. Additionally, the channel will feature up to 40 hours of on-demand content per month, where the featured matches for each weekend will be available free-of-charge to all mio TV customers.
As one of the elite leagues of the football world, Serie A hosts some of the world’s most famous clubs - Inter, Juventus, Milan and Roma - and has produced the biggest number of European Cup finalists.
The league features some of the world’s best football players, such as two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho, seven-time Serie A champion and all-time Juventus top-scorer and appearances leader Alessandro del Piero, last year’s FIFA World Player and European Player of the Year, Kaká and of course, Roma’s all-time leading goal-scorer Francesco Totti.
Fans can also look forward to seeing David Beckham play for Milan as early as January 12 when they meet Roma at Stadio Olimpico.
