Triveni fights tough times with low-cost version of StreamScope Analyzer

19 June 2009

To combat the tough economic climate facing broadcasters globally, Triveni Digital is showcasing StreamScope MT-40LCP Analyzer, its low-cost version of the award-winning StreamScope MT-40 analyzer at Booth 7D2-01 in Hall 7 of BroadcastAsia 09.

The MT-40LCP facilitates end-to-end MPEG-2/MPEG-4 transport stream monitoring and analysis for DTV signals carried by broadcast, cable, satellite, IPTV, or mobile networks. The low-cost model features two PCI card slots, a significantly reduced size and weight and an optional battery-equipped unit, offering greater flexibility.

The MT-40LCP supports RF, SMPTE 310, ASI, QPSK, and file inputs, and Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) for non-real-time PCR analyses. With in-depth troubleshooting and analysis capabilities for multiple signals over all commonly encountered physical layers including deep packet inspection, the MT-40LCP can monitor, alarm, troubleshoot, record, and measure DTV transport streams to ensure their integrity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Also on display is the StreamScope RM-40SE, a low-cost RF/QAM monitoring probe that can be located at transmitter sites for continuous, real-time monitoring of the DTV signal. This makes it easy and inexpensive for broadcasters to ensure continuous service and rapidly debug issues when they arise.

The RM-40SE is a full-featured, in-depth, 24/7 unattended remote monitoring instrument that performs comprehensive MPEG video monitoring for real-time RF streams and offers all the analysis functionality of the RM-40 base and High Bandwidth Edition (HBE).

Triveni Digital recently announced Magna Systems & Engineering as their new international dealer for the Asia-Pacific region.

“We welcome Magna Systems to our international dealer network to provide the Asia-Pacific market with access to smart, affordable solutions for maintaining high-quality digital television services,” said Ralph Bachofen, vice president of sales and head of marketing at Triveni Digital.
