23 June 2009
Singapore - Leading Southeast Asian post-production company Oriental Post, in co-operation with its affiliate company, Kantana Laboratories, has implemented FilmLight’s industry leading Truelight Colour Management technology throughout its DI, video post-production and film laboratory facilities.
The company, which provides film scanning and recording, television transfer, editorial visual effects and finishing services, has installed Truelight in all critical viewing locations to ensure each area produces accurate and consistent results.
Scott Craig, regional managing director, Filmlight Singapore said “FilmLight is committed to providing world class solutions and support to the top facilities in Southeast Asia. We are delighted to be working closely with Oriental Post.”
With the implementation of Truelight in its DI grading suite, Oriental Post ensures that both clients and colourists can be confident what they see when grading on their digital projector will match what the audience sees when the final print is projected in the cinema.
Truelight has also been deployed in Oriental Post’s telecine suites to ensure accurate monitoring in both SD and HD video as well as confidence monitoring of 10 bit log data transfers.
