Tiger Gate’s KIX and Thrill channels to launch on now TV

Hong Kong - Tiger Gate Entertainment has signed an agreement to launch its KIX and Thrill channels on PCCW’s now TV platform in Hong Kong.
now TV joins a rapidly growing list of leading Pay-TV operators in Asia who recognize the huge appetite for Asian action television and thriller/horror movies in the region. With the fast-paced exhilaration of KIX and heart-pounding excitement of Thrill, Tiger Gate’s channels are tailor-made to meet this demand.
The agreement to launch on now TV follows other distribution deals in the region. Tiger Gate is growing the KIX and Thrill brands rapidly across Asia - part of the company’s strategy to reach the many action and thriller/horror fans among the region’s 300 million Pay-TV households. Launches in other major markets are planned throughout 2010.
Tiger Gate operates KIX, an Asian action channel, and Thrill, a thriller/suspense/horror movie channel. Tiger Gate also operates a TV and film production business to complement its channels, producing local feature film and TV content focused on action and thriller genres. In development now are two reality TV series in partnership with Mark Burnett Productions and four feature films to be shot in Asia, all in the action or thriller genres.
