Jakarta - Sutanto Hartono will be stepping down as chief executive officer of Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) at the end of the month to become the new Country General Manager of Microsoft Indonesia.
Assuming the CEO role at RCTI will be Hary Tanoesoedibjo, group CEO/President of RCTI’s parent PT Media Nusantara Citra, Tbk (MNC), Indonesia’s largest media company.
Apart from heading up national television network RCTI, Sutanto was also a director at MNC. He was previously senior vice president at Sony Music Entertainment South East Asia and senior associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton. He earned his MBA from University of California at Berkeley, and, in 2003, was voted the best CEO in Indonesia by SWA.
