Ross Video Xpression Roadshow to tour Asia-Pacific

Ross Video will be hosting a series of roadshows in Asia-Pacific from January to March 2010. The roadshow will showcase Ross Production Switchers which are an industry standard and its XPression Graphic System, the live 2D/3D high definition character generation and motion graphics system acquired by Ross Video last year from the Netherlands based company Media Refinery. XPression is the high end 3D CG with power enough to handle the most demanding applications while being exceptionally easy to use and automate. XPression offers real time layering and animation of 3D models, 2D and 3D text, rendered animations, live video and web content.Designed for the unique needs of the graphic designer, the programmer, and the on air operator, XPression advances the look of a production by making it easy to create, manage, and get to air. As a data-driven system, XPression is able to easily integrate real time data into 3D graphics and animations which has led to its extensive use in top end game shows, news and sports productions with live connections to spreadsheets, databases, RSS feeds, newsroom editorial systems and other live data sources. XPression even boasts the capabilities to produce in 3D (stereoscopic graphics), as showcased at IBC 2009.
