NETIA’s new CMS helps distribute content on multiple platforms

Singapore - With the changing consumer demand, telcos would soon require content management systems (CMS) that allow content to be distributed on various platforms, says Isabelle Michoux, communications & field marketing manager of NETIA.
Michoux says over the last eight months, NETIA, a content management software company, has been working to create a CMS for Orange to manage their assets based on their existing media asset management (MAM) system.
Michoux says the CMS, which will launch this September at IBC, will enable Orange and other telcos to store, manage, and distribute content to any service provider or multimedia platform. This way, one video can be uploaded through a website, downloaded via VOD or seen on the mobile platform.
NETIA’s CMS system, ManreoT, will also benefical for telcos who are grappling with the need for better quality control for the files.
"It’s the consumer demand now to be able to get news, watch tv and get information anywhere anytime on a world-wide level," Michoux says.
