AETN International licenses multiple series to Channel Seven Australia
23 August 2010
New York - AETN International announced that it has reached an agreement to license four series to Channel Seven, Australia’s number one television network for total people. The series included in the package are, Pawn Stars, Life After People, WWII Lost Films and Parking Wars. Channel Seven has also licensed the format rights for Pawn Stars. The sales agreement was negotiated by FOXTEL, who represent program sales for AETN in Australia and New Zealand.
Pawn Stars takes viewers inside the doors of the only family-run pawn shop in Las Vegas, where three generations of the men from the Harrison family - grandfather, father and son - amusingly clash while running the business together. Pawn Stars is produced by Leftfield Pictures for HISTORY.
WWII Lost Films is a visually stunning landmark series that presents the story of the war viewed through the eyes of 12 Americans who fought in or contributed to the war effort. Using advanced HD technology and featuring original, color footage rarely or never before seen, the series brings to life thousands of hours of color archival footage that was preserved and restored, showing the war as it looked and sounded.
Using feature film quality visual effects and top experts in the fields of engineering, botany, ecology, biology, geology, climatology, and archeology, Life After People provides an amazing visual journey through the ultimately hypothetical.
Parking Wars follows the men and women on the front lines of the Philadelphia Parking Authority. The series is a firsthand and decidedly playful look at what happens when the citizens of Philadelphia come face to face with the PPA.
