KidsCo celebrates Eid ul-Fitr with kids the world over
23 August 2010
London, UK - KidsCo announced that it is to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr through a series of idents that will be shown once every hour, globally, from August through to the end of September. KidsCo has commissioned Asian Animation company Image Venture Private Ltd., based in Chennai India, to develop this Eid ul-fitr ident. It will be the fourth in a series of original programming to honour international events around the world.
The ident focuses on the international characters from the KidsCo logo as they celebrate Eid ul-Fitr. The ident begins with a shooting star that turns into a flying carpet and flies around the world picking up children from different backgrounds along the way. The carpet is representative of KidsCo, which carries the children around the world enabling them to share and experience different cultures with each other. The children offer each newcomer a lantern as a gift, the lantern symbolises knowledge. The carpet gets bigger and bigger throughout the ident, this signifies the capacity for the vast and rich knowledge that KidsCo has to offer its global audience. KidsCo has created two versions of the ident, one for Western Europe and one for Asia, as part of its continued efforts to deliver region specific content.
