Nickelodeon tops cable kids TV channels for all of July in Singapore

Singapore - Nickelodeon was the #1 rated channel for the month of July in Singapore with record monthly ratings, the highest average time spent and share for total cable kids television across age 4 to 14 years old.

Nickelodeon ascended to the top position for the first time this year in the week of 28 June 2010 with the highest share at 36% and 0.31 average rating, maintaining its viewers with an average time spent of 35 minutes on the channel.

The channel ascended the charts in the following week of 5 July 2010 with the highest increase of 48% in ratings as compared to the last week, which captured the strongest share of 46% and an average rating of 0.46 with viewers’ average time spent at 39.6 minutes. Nickelodeon also dominates 80% of the top kids programs with evergreen favorite animation shows such as Jimmy Neutron, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Back at The Barnyard.

Nickelodeon’s latest live-action sensation, Big Time Rush hit a high note of 3.66 ratings and iCarly at 3.62 as the only two live-action shows in the top 10 programs chart of the week for kids age 10 to 14 years old; and also in the top 20 programs chart for kids age 4 to 14 years old across the entire cable kids television channels.

Nickelodeon continued to sit in the top position in the weeks of 12 and 19 July 2010 with 37%/ 34% share and 0.35/ 0.27 ratings with viewers’ average time spent of 35.5 minutes/ 31.8minutes in respective weeks.
