AJA sees double at IBC

Grass Valley, CA – Two of AJA Video Systems’ new products that the company introduced at the recent International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), were recognized with awards.

AJA Io XT, a Thunderbolt-enabled I/O device garnered a 2011 STAR Award from TV Technology Europe, and AJA UDC, an Up/Down/Cross Mini-Converter, received a Pick Hit Award from Broadcast Engineering Magazine.

AJA Io XT enables video professionals to connect to a Thunderbolt-enabled Apple computer via a single cable. While a number of Thunderbolt-enabled devices debuted at the Amsterdam exhibition, the AJA Io XT is the only one that provides two Thunderbolt ports to enable daisy-chaining of multiple peripherals.

The AJA UDC Up/Down/Cross Mini-Converter provides high quality conversions between SD, HD and 3G video formats in a small and cost effective package.
