ArtFusion launches initiative

ArtFusion is conducting an Open House on 8 October to coincide with the full opening of the Circle Line. During the event, it will announce its ArtFusion Hub initiative. The media school is located at one-north where many of the leading CG studios, as well as the MDA, are located.

The school will become a networking hub for CG and related industry professionals, where talents may be identified, jobs placed, ideas shared, and cooperation deals developed.

ArtFusion Hub will have an online platform which allows CG professionals to showcase their portfolios and show reels, so Singapore talents may find job opportunities in Singapore and overseas, and international talents interested in coming to Asia and Singapore may also have a channel to showcase their works.

As part of the ArtFusion Hub networking, regular events will be held featuring talks by world class talents and industry leaders. Gracing this inaugural talk is Sonny Liew, an internationally known comic and illustration artist. Liew is known for his works for Marvel Comics including Iron Man and Sense and Sensibility, and Disney for Wonderland.

ArtFusion will also announce ArtFusion Prizes and ArtFusion Scholarships. On the day of the event, there will be a mini robot design competition where the winners will get scholarships to attend professional short courses conducted by ArtFusion Media School.
