Belden appoints Marketing and Sales VPs

Singapore – Belden Singapore Pte Ltd has announced two key appointments to drive growth in the main elements of marketing for the Infrastructure Business Group (IBG) - vertical marketing, product marketing and outbound marketing.

Chai-Koon Tan is the new Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific in the IGB reporting to Steve Biegacki, Acting VP Sales & marketing – IBG, Asia Pacific & Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing.

Tan’s most notable experience includes Director of Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing with Johnson Controls Power Solutions, and various sales and marketing positions throughout Asia with Hilti.

Based in India and also reporting to Biegacki is Puneet Mehrotra, VP Sales & Marketing overseeing both the industrial and enterprise businesses in India. With 20 years of experience garnered within the industrial automation and energy markets, Puneet hails from a strong background in channel, business development and sales management.

Prior to his present appointment with Belden India, Puneet spent over three years with Areva T & D as the VP/Commercial Director for Substation Automation Sales.
