Chyron appoints Kathy Power as SVP of Worldwide Sales

Melville, N.Y. — Chyron today announced that Kathy Power has been appointed to the new role of senior vice president of worldwide sales. In this role, Power will lead Chyron's global sales effort with responsibility for all aspects of revenue generation.

As an IT industry veteran with more than 25 years experience, Power has held executive positions, most recently serving as executive director for More Than Wheels, an award-winning non-profit organization recently recognized by President Obama as one of the foremost innovative social enterprises in the country.

Previously, Power served as vice president of worldwide sales, service, and field operations for Avid Technology. Earlier roles include serving as vice president of global account sales at Compaq, in addition to serving as Hewlett Packard's vice president of international operations and vice president of targeted accounts.

Power holds degrees from Boston College and Harvard University and completed her executive training at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
